THE PROBLEM

  • Screening for these disorders are frequently completed by parents and their children using paper-and-pencil questionnaires that are time-consuming to score and interpret.
  • Pediatricians and other physicians that treat children and adolescents don’t have time to administer, score, and interpret these tests.

THE SOLUTION

  • The CASA – a free-standing App that can be downloaded to a tablet or smartphone, that includes well-validated tests that can be completed by parents at their pediatrician’s (or other health care provider’s) office in the waiting or examining room to screen for emotional, behavioral, or developmental disorders.
  • Tests are typically questionnaires that are automatically scored and interpreted for immediate use by physicians or their assistants during an office visit.
